The Client

Dyce Caravans are Scotland’s foremost caravan and motorhome dealer. They supply new and used caravans together with storage and safety equipment and servicing.


The Problem

Dyce Caravans were utilising a lot of paperwork and identified their use of paper forms as being an area within which they could improve their business. Our IT partner recommended that Dyce Caravans consult with us here at Intellicore to ascertain how we could help them.


What We Did

Intellicore set about understanding fully the processes that were in place with our client. We identified that forms were completed in the yard areas and then taken into the office. Once in the office, the forms would be placed in a pile for processing. This stage often took some time and there was significant scope of mistakes or human error. We built a tablet based application which integrated with the system they were previously hand-typing notes into. When their admin team raises a job, which previously would have resulted in a job sheet print out, the job shows in the application. The engineer working on that job then runs through the job sheet in the application and completes all data input there and then. All paperwork is completed through the application and can be sent off to clients by email upon completion. The solution offers better overview, increased efficiency and greater levels of control.
