OGTC: Business Management System - Member Portal

The Client

The Oil & Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) has a goal to optimise economic recovery from the UK continental shelf, anchor the supply chain in the North East of Scotland and create a culture of innovation in the region.

 

The Problem

Similar to the events portal, the OGTC had identified an opportunity to work with Intellicore and provide a member portal integrated with their bespoke Dynamics CRM solution. This would allow for enhanced member interaction whilst drawing all the data from the CRM solution thus avoiding duplication of data and/or data entry.

 

What We Did

Intellicore developed a bespoke members only portal to face up data from the Dynamics CRM solution to the web. As noted above, this portal was for members only to view and thus contained information on the various projects that the OGTC were running. The ease by which information can be faced up from the CRM solution means that the OGTC can provide extremely in-depth and informative updates to their members and greatly increase engagement. As with the events portal, all unique login details are maintained in the Dynamics CRM solution which provides authentication functionality.
